What it means to truly feel well in our bodies and lives
As an app with a global wellness mission, today reaffirms the importance of wellness and its global impact.
Every year, on the second Saturday of June, people around the world pause to reflect on a simple but powerful question. How can I live a healthier, happier and better life?
That is the heart of Global Wellness Day. It is not about luxury retreats or impossible routines. It is about awareness. It is about taking a moment to ask ourselves what wellness really means. And more importantly, what it means for us individually, in our own bodies and lives.
For our MRKH community, wellness can be a complicated and deeply personal journey.
Many of us have experienced years of confusion, misdiagnosis, silence and shame before even finding out what MRKH was. That kind of emotional weight does not disappear overnight. It lingers in our relationships, our sense of identity and even in the mirror.
So on this Global Wellness Day, we invite you to
reclaim the word wellness
for yourself. To strip it back from trends and expectations and to ask, what does feeling well look like for me today?
Because it is OK that wellness is different for everyone. For some it's a 5k run, for others it's getting out of bed.

Wellness in the MRKH Community
Wellness is having spaces where we feel safe to share what is really going on.
Wellness is being able to say I feel disconnected from my body and not be judged for it.
It is finding someone else who understands what it means to live without a womb and feeling less alone because of shared experiences.
It is a good cry. A deep breath. A small win. It is brushing your teeth, cooking a meal, moving your body. It is 5 minutes outside. It is anything big or small where you have given yourself time, to just - be.
It is being creative without pressure. It is letting ourselves rest without guilt. It is laughing with someone who just gets it. It is feeling your feelings. It is listening to your body.
It is advocating for yourself and learning about MRKH. It is getting to know yourself. It is in the quiet, unspoken reflections of your journey.
In the MRKH app, wellness lives in the diary entries that no one else sees. It lives in the quiet support of a friend check-in. It is in the shared artwork, the unfiltered group chats and the workshops that give us tools to cope and flourish.
A gentle invitation
Today, we invite you to choose one small act of care for yourself.
Maybe that means checking in with your mood. Or stepping outside and noticing how the sun hits the trees. Maybe it means lighting a candle and sitting in stillness for five minutes.
Maybe it means messaging someone in your group to say I see you and I am here.
However you choose to spend this day, know that wellness is not a final destination. It is a practice. It is a right. And it is something we can claim together.
