The history of this female health blog and VAVA Womb

Ellamae, Director of Nestii CIC and founder of the MRKH app, has become a well known voice in the MRKH advocacy space. Inspired by the power of sharing her own story and running a podcast to amplify more MRKH voices, she launched VAVA Womb as a more in depth exploration of women's health in addition to her MRKH work. VAVA Womb existed in this blog and as a  gynae health awareness platform that uses art and lived experience to connect with people across a range of conditions and raise awareness to break societal stigma. 

Ellamae has continued to grow her presence in the female health space as a speaker, creator, designer and writer with more than 20.8k followers online.

After 10 years of advocating, she realised community building was her calling. She is pursuing an old scribbled dream in her notepad of an MRKH app after setting up her not for profit, Nestii CIC, which aims to build a digital nest for individuals with MRKH. The blog below shows us just how powerful sharing stories and community is and will remain as a legacy of VAVA Womb whilst we focus on the importance of innovating MRKH support!
